Today, I want to try a different approach to the whole cultural appropriation thing.

Let’s try this …

Would you wear a one carat cubic zirconia? Something that really gets attention? What if someone asked you where you got it or how much you paid?

Some wouldn’t care. The fake diamond is good enough (after all, it saved them money). Others only want the authentic item even with the higher price tag.

Buying indigenous crafts is the same dang thing!

“Indigenous inspired” = cubic zirconia.

“Indigenous made” – beautiful, authentic, REAL.

So don’t pretend to have the real deal. Instead, take REAL action. Purchase REAL crafts from authentic artisans.

After all, you deserve diamonds, my friend, and authentic indigenous crafts and artwork.
