Reconciliation Work for Non-Indigenous Entities

 
As an entrepreneur, we are often required to set down our egos, to realize that our mindset, our stubbornness, our resistance to change, and/or our habits are the problem.

But with identification comes the opportunity for change and growth and eventually, success.

Reconciliation is no different.

For years, the Indigenous living within Canadian borders have been identified, trained, and retrained, taught how to be ‘successful in mainstream” and more often than not, the reality fell far short of the promise.

Something is missing …

And that something is the realization that reconciliation will not and cannot happen if the problems on the non-Indigenous side of the feather are not also identified and fixed.
