Creating Safer Spaces
You are a diverse team, tasked with serving a certain group of people. You may or may not have seen conflicts arise internally among your team or in the group you serve. Your team is working together but you sense they could be tighter, more cohesive, more effective and the LAST THING you want is to be considered a toxic work environment. At the same time, you want to ensure your space is safe for those you invite in.
In this session, Sandi walks participants through the definition of a safe space, highlighting why it is essential to a successful team.
Participants are given the opportunity to create their own space by identifying what must be and what cannot be in that space for them to function.
Finally, participants are invited to work together, learning how to create and combine safe spaces for co-workers and the people they serve.
