THREE FULL DAYS of information, self-reflection and personal/professional growth!
A TRAINING MUST FOR ANY NON-INDIGENOUS BUSINESS, NON-PROFIT OR COMMUNITY LOOKING TO WORK WITH INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES OR INDIVIDUALS!
Session One – The PATH
This thought-provoking seminar is an overview of where we are, how we got here, and what we need to do to unify our nations. Based on Sandi Boucher’s latest book, “The PATH”, this session is the action plan many are looking for, delivered in a safe environment that encourages questions and discussion. Included in seminar price – a copy of “The PATH” for each participant.
Session Two – Breaking the Chains of the Past
This informative and thought-provoking session broaches many valuable topics including what educators, supporters, allies and citizens can do to assist the marginalized among us to overcome their internalized oppression; what UNDRIP, the TRC Calls to Action and the final report of MMIWG ask us to do; why intent is the basis for moving forward and why standing back-to-back is all we need to remember to move forward.
Session Three – Learning to Dance on the Walls that Divide Us
Change takes work but before the work comes the decision – what level of interaction are YOU comfy with? This informative and thought-provoking seminar examines Indigenous Engagement, Inclusion, and Involvement. Learn what they mean and what is required to attain each level. Added bonus – this session will demystify some local Indigenous teachings to highlight how ceremonies may be different but intent is often very similar.

TESTIMONIAL FROM PARTICIPANT:
“Sandi’s three sessions on the path to reconciliation were extremely beneficial. Not only did you feel like you were in a safe place where you could ask questions and talk about issues and ideas, the information and tools she provided have stuck with me and I find myself using them in my work. Because I enjoyed the learning and found it beneficial, my organization asked Sandi to do the training for more of our staff. The feedback from those employees was also very positive and I’m sure we will have Sandi back in the future so more people can determine how they can be a part of reconciliation.”
