A session that leverages storytelling, examples, and truth from an Indigenous lens to support Indigenous and non-Indigenous staff to build authentic relationships with Indigenous peoples, families, coworkers, partners and community members.
- Understand the importance of relationship building as a key step towards true reconciliation
- Identify key actions they can take to build lasting relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous staff, colleagues, families, caregivers, partners, and community members
- Learn what must be considered when working with Indigenous peoples, communities, and entities
- Recognize common mistakes and how to move forward after missteps
