In a Good Place

 
I am awake, I am alive, and this morning … I am in a good place. It’s a good feeling, maybe even a great feeling and it is the result of so many things …

-Learning to believe in myself so that others could in turn.
-Making decisions that not only honour who I am but who I want to be.
-Humbly seeking out teachings, consistently and constantly.
-Planting seeds that will bloom into my best life.
-Daring to do what works for me.

Because at the end of the day, the life I lead, the path I walk, the person I become is up to me. I can be defined by another’s opinion of me or choose instead to define myself. I can build bridges to my future or walls separating me from those who can teach me so much. I can nurture my garden or throw gasoline on it.

So today Creator, help me to turn away from the gasoline – the unhealthy food, the limiting beliefs, the untrustworthy, the judges. Today (as always) Creator, help me to find the light so I can be one.

This I pray.

And while we are at it Creator, please shine some light on the sacred soul reading these words right now. So often she/he just doesn’t see how valued they are, how cherished, how loved. Too often they hear the judgments and not the praise.

Today Creator, help them to hear the praise.
